Mardi Gras Card
I bought this photograph years ago at the Bridge House thrift store. It is a wonderful reminder of how in New Orleans, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Now you can have a copy to frame or to write and send. The front has six people costumed and ready to go out for the day. On the back it says, “Mardi Gras of 1931, February 17, 1931—Reading from left to right, Harold Cook, May Goddard, Weston Hamilton, Margaret Tate, Steve Tate, and Me.”
8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. Comes in a sleeve with a natural kraft envelope.
